Emotions
Most people don't like change. Kidney failure is particularly stressful because it not only involves changes in your physical health, but in your work, family, and relationships.
How you cope, emotionally and psychologically, will have a major impact on all aspects of your life, including your physical condition. You may need help from others—friends and family and those you love, other patients, your social worker—to accept and adjust to life with failing kidneys.
