Comparison of Home Hemodialysis, In-Center Hemodialysis, and Peritoneal Dialysis
Both methods of kidney dialysis are equally effective. There are differences, however. Hemodialysis, for instance, works more quickly than peritoneal dialysis, and so only has to be done in short sessions. Peritoneal dialysis needs to be performed every day.
