Who can be treated by hemodialysis?

Most patients with kidney failure can be treated by hemodialysis. It must be possible to gain good access to a patient's bloodstream.

Since patients on hemodialysis experience fairly dramatic changes in blood pressure and toxin levels, some patients with heart problems may not be ideally suited to hemodialysis.
