There are different types of dialysis solution available. For example, the amount of water drawn from the blood depends on the amount of dextrose in the solution. In peritoneal dialysis there are different strengths of dialysis solution bags. A strong solution bag contains a lot of dextrose and removes more water from the blood than a weaker solution bag. The Dialysis center will prescribe the fluid that is most appropriate for you.
